NO. We don’t use low pressure or a surface cleaner either. We use a roof pump specifically designed to gently remove the algae from your shingles without removing those little granules on them.

There are two ways you can remove dirt, mold and algae from your home. The first is the traditional way which is relying on high pressure to blast it off. This is an outdated method that most professional power washing companies no longer use on vinyl or stucco. Too much pressure can cause damage and doesn’t do nearly as good a job. Soft washing simply means using a house washing detergent that kills the algae and mold without the use of high pressure. It’s the safest and most effective way to wash your vinyl, stucco, hardie board, etc.
